Why aren't things like they were...

Really...
The quality of so many things has dropped within the last 25 years... people don't even have the skills they used to because machines do. What happened to the local blacksmith?
Why do fridges only last a few years nowadays? Why are all the newly developed buildings so ugly? and what happened to the zinc roofing that turned red with age yet stayed for decades without leakages? What happened to Britain's industry?

Why is the Thames not being used like it was? What happened to all the barges and trawlers and boatyards? (that's a typical thing for me to say, but its so true)

What happened to real music?

What happened to good food? When most people grew some of their own veg and bought it from the local grocer. What happened to fast food not being made of plastic?
paha. ah that's so bad.

and what is up with Diet Coke?... thats just wrong.

... its proven we're no better at maths than we were 30 years ago, even though there's a soaring pass rate. :/

I'm just bitter :). I wish fashion had stayed in the 50's and 60's. mmm.

Introduction

So i'm at home after a long day of shopping, which was actually incredibly painful since i've managed to do this
http://healthyspine.blogspot.com/2006/05/adult-torticollis-neck-pain-from.html to my neck.
The moral of the little tale is... don't get drunk and fall asleep in an awkward position. :(

And the only reason i actually have a blogger is due to
http://venicetheory.blogspot.com (Josh Knox), i can't imagine this being remotely successful or interesting but its worth a try i guess.

You can look at two pictures i took recently that i quite like...

In the car looking up the windscreen, pretty basic and it was on manual focus, which i had no control of due to the awkward position... so its hardly special. but there's something about it i like.

When i get hold of a camera i become some sort of trigger happy physco bitch... I love taking pictures.

This sums up my Chistmas, Buster and Jessie across the dinner table, lots of candles and champagne. All in all it was lovely. I'll probably edit them nicely at a later date, but shh :).

... maybe next time i post something i'll have more of a purpose.
ciao x
